Little Acting Opportunity in Scad Short Film

I had a blast acting for my friend's Thesis Film last year (2008). It was a big responsibility because it wasn't just another "sugar cookie" kind of story. We even used real guns and had a specialist supervise every now and then. I must say that the movie delivers its message effortlessly and that I'm very proud of Carmen on this achievement. Hopefully, there is more adrenaline rushes like this coming out her and my way. I had a small role but it was right on the climax of the story, so, it was thrilling to watch it after it was done and believe what I know didn't happen!!!

"Operacion Chef" Season 2 Opening

Here is my latest work! It is the Opening Sequence for the coolest cooking show in Puerto Rico. It involves After Effects, Photoshop, Flash and the latest Trapcode Plug ins. I had a blast and that's a fact because it is, and will always be, my FIRST "freelance" contract. What better way to get to more clients, than by their stomachs!!!

My responsibilities were diverse. First, everything had to be made in a short period of time. The concept design, modeling, texturing had to be done in two and a half weeks in order to have it completed for my final submission (of course, I didn’t want to fail the class). It was a very fun project that definitely opened a window for a diverse range of environment possibilities. The professor and several students definitely gave me various inputs on how to approach the challenges.

Loved every minute of it!

This character and set were produced using as many recycled and disposed materials found in everyday life. I must say that it is one of my beloved projects. You can’t help to fall in love with something shaped with your own hands that eventually moves and becomes a life form.
